Ed Vincent, Founder & Chief Executive Officer 
Ed has more than 15 years of business management, finance, consulting and marketing experience in addition to being a serial entrepreneur. His background includes over six years in corporate valuation and investment banking. He was the founder and CEO of Citystuff, Inc., a nationwide e-commerce network connecting hundreds of small to medium businesses. The company was acquired in 2001.
As founder & CEO of SimplyEngage, Ed is bringing the sophistication of enterprise online marketing and analytics to the local multi-unit business community with the execution simplicity needed for it to succeed on the local level.
Ed also founded EmailPredictTM, one of the few strategic consulting firms to assist original content media brands in developing and monetizing their email program. Clients include AMCtv (Mad Men, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad), WEtv, Wedding Central, Independent Film Channel, New York magazine, Maxim magazine, The Daily Beast, and other print, television and online media brands. EmailPredict currently handles email strategy, deployment and monetization for hundreds of media properties.
Additionally, Ed is the founder and Co-Director of The Kate Shea Foundation, a foundation dedicated to raising awareness and providing funds to select Leukemia research organizations and financial assistance to further the cultural and academic educations of youths as they strive to understand and accept global diversity as a reality.
Jim Scott, President and COO
Jim is a seasoned executive with both Fortune 100 and start-up experience with expertise in corporate and business development, marketing, product development and financial management with a deep information technology background.
Prior to joining SimplyEngage, Jim was the Chief Operating Officer of Performline Inc. (an affiliate marketing and services firm), Automated Resources Group (a services firm focusing on subscriber, membership and audience management) and Donnelley Marketing (an infoGroup company) where he was responsible for operating income objectives as well as all aspects of solution delivery services, account management services, data processing services, vendor management and production services. Prior to Donnelley Marketing, Jim was the Founder and CEO of ResponseLogic, Inc., a personalization software and services firm enabling marketers to target content on the web and email based on a proprietary recommendation engine.
Earlier in his career, Jim held a variety of managerial positions at IBM and Philip Morris USA.
John Ching, CTO
John Ching is a high-tech industry veteran with more than 20 years of software engineering and technology management experience. He is a technical expert on artificial intelligence, data mining, analytical modeling and messaging systems. John joined Yesmail following Yesmail's acquisition of Digital Connexxions Corp., where he was the CTO and was responsible for defining the strategic directions of the Email Service Provider's overall technology, products and ASP services.
Previously John was the CTO of ResponseLogic where he led the R&D efforts in creating a patented intelligent content personalization software product. John also served as CTO at Infotriever Inc. (a Brightspark company), and was instrumental in architecting the company's patent-pending eCRM technology for web-enabling and integrating personal organizers and palm devices. Prior to Infotriever, John served as the Director of Engineering at E-Certify Corporation responsible for developing an Enterprise PKI and Internet security product suite.
John also held senior technical and management positions at Accenture, Peregrine Systems (now HP), and at Casebank Technologies where he co-authored an US patent on Case-based Reasoning.
